Taking Care Of That Luscious Beard

Taking Care Of That Luscious Beard

Anyone out there growing beards, this is a PSA for you: that body wash or conventional bar soap you’ve been using to wash your ass is not meant to be used to clean that luscious mane! (Or your body really… but we’ll leave that for another blog post 😬)

You might think, okay, sure, I’ll just use my shampoo and conditioner, but you’d be mistaken again! What you really need is a gentle conditioning cleanser, one made with hydrating butters and oils, that will clean, but also help keep your facial hair moisturized. All while protecting the skin underneath.

That’s where our Beard Soap comes in to save the day! Our Beard Soap is made with skin and hair loving organic butters and oils, with 15% super fat. That means, during the saponification process while making the soap, 15% of the fats are left (they aren’t turned into soap) to help condition the hair and skin. So you can lather up real good, rinse, and your beard will be ready for the next steps…

MOISTURIZE!!!

Now that you’re facial hair is clean, it’s time to moisturize. This is a very important step to help prevent any itching, flaking, dandruff and just overall discomfort from dry skin and hair. You’re going to want to start with our Beard Oil. The beard oil is going to moisturize and hydrate the skin and hair, the key is to use this while your skin and hair are still damp (not wet and not bone dry). Next you want to apply our Beard Butter, that’s going to help lock in the moisture as well as help to style your beard. Comb everything through, making sure to coat each strand of hair, making sure everything is evenly distributed.

Congratulations! You did it! Your beard looks sexy af, it’s shining and softer than a babies butt. Now you just gotta keep up with it. 😁

Check out our Beard Box, it has everything you need to maintain all that facial hair so you look like you care about yourself. 😉
